Spring quarter president's and dean's lists announced at TBC

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Bible College in Cookeville has released its president's and dean's lists for the 2008 spring quarter.

On the president's list are Joshua Brown of Bowling Green, Ky., and Mark Day of Cookeville. To be named to this list, a full-time student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average for the quarter.

Brown, son of Michael and Brenda Brown of Bowling Green, is a 2001 graduate of Greenwood High School in Kentucky. He came to TBC to prepare for a career in pulpit ministry.

Day is the son of Anita Page of Indianapolis, Ind., and a 2004 graduate of Whiteland Community High School in Indiana. He is married to the former Alissa Wheeler. In addition to his studies, he serves as TBC's assistant to the dean in Distance Learning and production assistant. He preaches at Midway Church of Christ near Spencer, Tenn.

The TBC dean's list includes Edward Davis of Chicago, Ill., and Midea Liao of Wuhan, China. To earn this distinction, full-time students must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 for the quarter.

Davis, son of Elinor Davis of Chicago and the late James Davis, is a 2002 graduate of Thornwood High School. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree in digital media technology from Columbia College in Chicago.

Liao is the daughter of Guanghao Liao and Qunxiang Deng of China. She is a 2001 high school graduate, as well as a 2005 graduate of South-Central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China, where she majored in English and literature, and also from Zhangnan University of Law and Economics, where she minored in accounting. She also recently earned her two-year diploma from TBC and is now pursuing a bachelor's degree in religious education.

Tennessee Bible College is located at 1616 McCulley Road in Cookeville and offers a bachelor's degree in religious education, master's and doctorate degrees in theology and a two-year diploma. Distance learning courses are also available.
