Kenneth Michael Miller, a senior at Clay County High School, is the 2006 recipient of a full scholarship to Tennessee Bible College. The scholarship was awarded during CCHS's recent senior awards night.

Michael will be the second member of his family to attend TBC. His father, Ken Miller, is a 1993 graduate of TBC, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Bible. Michael is also the son of Teresa Miller, and the family resides in the Rock Springs community of Clay County. They are members of Rock Springs Church of Christ.

"Michael is the kind of student Tennessee Bible College is seeking," said Malcolm L. Hill, TBC president.

TBC scholarships are available to students in the Upper Cumberland area and are awarded based on recommendations of their school's faculty members and guidance counselors. The scholarship can be used in conjunction with work at other universities. For more information about the TBC scholarship, students should contact their high school guidance counselors.

TBC, which was established in 1975, is located at 1616 McCulley Road in Cookeville. The college is dedicated to the training of Bible preachers and Christian workers in Bible doctrine, apologetics and evangelism. A Distance Learning program and free Bible correspondence courses are also offered. The college is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
