Friend to Assist TBC President

COOKEVILLE — A long-time friend of Tennessee Bible College and President Malcolm Hill will now be the Assistant to the President. Paul M. Wilmoth was recently named to the post and has assumed duties with the College. Mr. Wilmoth has been an assistant minister with Malcolm Hill at the Northeast Church of Christ in Cookeville for over 25 years. They have enjoyed a personal friendship for many years and now are working together for the advancement of TBC, according to Hill.
"I don't know of a better friend to me and to TBC than Paul Wilmoth," said Hill, "we have enjoyed a wonderful association for many years." Mr. Wilmoth has assisted through the years with many projects of the College from fundraisers to speaking on programs and serving as a teacher assistant. His work with the Northeast congregation has made many more programs and mission efforts possible.

Wilmoth is a native of Algood and an alumnus of Putnam County Central High School and Tennessee Bible College. He's the recently retired postmaster of Tennessee Tech University and has been a Gospel Preacher for 46 years having worked with several churches in Putnam and surrounding counties in the Upper Cumberland.
He is the son of a preacher, the late Perry Wilmoth, and from a family of preachers known for their work with churches of Christ in the area. "I've always looked forward to taking a more active part with TBC," Wilmoth said. "I'm looking forward to working closer with the College and with brother Hill in the advancement of TBC."
"We welcome Paul, an old friend to the College," said Hill.
Mr. Wilmoth is married with four grown children and six grandchildren and makes his home in Sparta.
Tennessee Bible College in a non-profit college supported by churches of Christ and many individuals. The College is now in its 33rd year of operation and offers the undergraduate degree in Religious Education, as well as the Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Theology. In addition to the Cookeville campus, the college also offers a Distance Learning program designed to take the classroom to the student.
