The month of June is quickly approaching, and that means that the Truth Bible Camp at the Tennessee Bible College will soon be underway! For all of you, young ladies, interested in participating in this program,  or who are already enrolled, you are in for a treat! You have so much to gain from attending this wonderful program which begins on June 10th with registration and lasts until June 14th! Here’s just a few great things that you will do while attending the Truth Bible Camp;

  1. Acquire better training on reading and interpreting God’s Word. It is never too early to learn about what it takes to be a faithful Christian, and learning as much as you can while you are young is wise. The wisest man in the Old Testament agrees with this point in Ecclesiastes 12:1, “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;”. Taking in God’s Word  should be done as soon as possible in your  That way, you will have all of the spiritual tools you need to face any challenge that comes your way! During the duration of the Truth Bible Camp, each day will start with a Chapel service, where campers will be led in a short devotional. After the Chapel session, classes will begin and each class is divided by age group so that better learning of God’s Word can occur.
  2. Making new spiritually-minded friends and reconnecting with old ones. Part of the fun of learning God’s Word is doing it with others! Truth Bible Camp goers range between the ages of 9 to 11 for day campers and 12-18 for full time-campers. This gives youample opportunity to connect with other young men and women, who are spiritually like-minded. Forming friendships withothers who love God and want to do His Commandments will help motivate you to do the same! “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
  3. Have Fun! Along with studying God’s Word, participatingin the Truth Bible Camp will allow you to be able to enjoy good food and fun activities between classes! This will help you not only to relax, but it will also help you get a chance to get to know your teachers and fellow campers better! You can also use this opportunity to teach others about Christ through your words and example. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord “ (Colossians 3:16).

Finally, in order to gain all of the benefits of attending Truth Bible Camp, there are certain things that you will need to bring with you. The list of things that full-time campers need to bring can be seen on the Tennessee Bible College website under the “Truth Bible Camp” tab. Of course, BOTH day campers and full-time campers should come equipped with the “sword of the Spirit” (Bible)! Besides these necessities, you should also remember to bring an open heart to receive God’s Word, as well as a willingness to teach others through your words and example. And, most importantly, don’t forget to pack a smile!
