The Academic Year of 2024-25 is almost here for Tennessee Bible College, and we are excited! The academic year arrives with the Fall Quarter, which is set to begin on September 9. Preparations are already underway for this new quarter, and exciting things are ahead for our students. Courses will be available in Apologetics, Doctrine, History, Literature, and Ministry along with our Textual and General courses as TBC works to fulfill that charge given by the Holy Spirit through Paul in II Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
I am thankful to be an Alumnus of this College (Class of 2002 and Class of 2005). I am also thankful to be in my 16th year as a teacher at this College, and in my 5th year as the Registrar of this College. I can tell you that Tennessee Bible College is a College that loves God and His Word. The College, if the Lord wills, will be celebrating its 50th year of operation in the coming year. Truly, exciting times are here!
The programs of study at Tennessee Bible College are the Diploma of Preaching or Diploma of Teaching, the Bachelor of Religious Education, the Master of Theology, and the Doctor of Theology. Classes are open to men and women. Those wanting to learn how to better preach, how to better teach Bible classes, or how to just simply be a better Christian are encouraged to enroll. There is no subject more important than the Bible to learn in a college setting or any other setting for that matter. You can take classes for credit or if you do not want to pursue a degree, you can take classes for non-credit.
TBC offers both on campus and online classes. You could take classes both ways or just one of those ways. Some prefer the traditional setting of a classroom, whereas others prefer the convenience of learning from their homes on their computers. It is up to you to decide which you prefer!
Our TBC After Dark class for this quarter is on Restoration History. I am blessed to be able to teach this class, and we always have a great gathering of students for this night class. This class will begin on campus on Monday nights, beginning September 9 and continuing through November 18 at 6:00 PM nightly. We will explore the American Restoration Movement, which began in the late 1700s. We will look at the basic principles of restoration taught in the New Testament. We will also examine the challenges as well as the success of this movement.
At Tennessee Bible College, the faculty and staff love the Lord. It is a blessing to work alongside great Christian brothers and sisters in serving a student body that is truly exceptional. I encourage anyone interested in receiving intensive, quality instruction in the Bible to enroll at TBC. Come, and be with us!
