Follow the Steps of Jesus
Though some see Jesus merely as a good teacher or virtuous man, in Matthew 16:15-16, Peter boldly proclaimed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” affirming His divine nature. Jesus’ extraordinary life bears witness to this truth and serves as a model for all. Walking in His footsteps, as Peter encourages, has the power to transform the world. Are you following in His steps?

Malcolm Hill: Here’s a throwback for you. In Matthew chapter 16, verses 15 and 16, Simon Peter said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” You know, every man has his own opinion of the Christ. Some say, and I have heard them, “Well, He was just a good teacher.” While there are others who say, “Well, He was just a good man, and that’s about it.” Well, Christ was not a good man if He claimed to be something He was not he was a living lie. He was a fraud. Do you believe that to be the case? Actually, Peter spoke the truth when he said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And oh, how His beautiful and wonderful and precious life declares this. And we should imitate His example (I Peter 2:21). How beautiful the world would be if every man would follow the steps of Jesus. Are you following them? I’m Malcolm Hill.
