Is Jesus a Democrat or a Republican? Got a minute? There’s a lot of political talk going on these days. And the question, what are you? Understand God ordained government, Romans 13, and works through it to accomplish His will on the earth. Does Jesus approve of aborting babies, abominable acts of homosexuality, sodomy, and transgender barbary? No. Genesis 19; Leviticus 20:13; Galatians 5:19–21. He allows man to make his or her choices. In fact, sometimes He sets up the basest or the lowest of men to rule in the kingdoms of men (Daniel 4:17). Jesus is neither Democrat nor Republican. His followers are called to a higher calling, a noble title. Christian, Acts 11:27. Parties, positions, titles are all set aside when one obeys the gospel, putting Christ on in baptism, Galatians 3:26-29. What are you? I hope the answer is Christian! That’s the gospel folks.
