Tennessee Bible College is celebrating 50 years of Christian higher education with its annual RENEW program on February 22-23, 2025. This year’s theme, Earthen Vessels (II Corinthians 4), reminds us that God has entrusted us with His Word to carry and share with the world. The weekend will be filled with gospel preaching, fellowship, singing, and great meals, featuring speakers who are all TBC alumni. Brother Glenn Ramsey, TBC’s longest-tenured faculty member, will kick things off with reflections on the treasure we have in Christ and what this Jubilee year means. This lecture series has been going strong since 1980, encouraging and strengthening the church. If you’ve never attended, now is the time!

Join TBC President and host of One Gospel Minute, David Hill, as he invites you to be part of this powerful weekend of faith, fellowship, and renewal.

David Hill: We begin our celebration of 50 years as an institution of higher education—Christian education—at Tennessee Bible College with our annual RENEW program, February 22 through 23, 2025. And we invite you to come. This year, we’re going to be dealing with the subject Earthen Vessels from II Corinthians 4.

The reason we chose that subject is because we have been entrusted with the words of God. The talent that has been given to us by God is to be used in His praise. We are to take that treasure that He has given, put it within, and use it as earthen vessels to His glory. We use that to springboard into our study, dealing with our responsibility as Christians. We examine the treasure that we have in earthen vessels—the excellency of the power of God that is contained within His Word—that which is given to us to carry to the world and to deal with the challenges that we face.

All these things come in a time of celebration, even a celebration of our 50 years as an institution here at Tennessee Bible College. We want you to join us. It’s a great time. It’s a good time to be together. We have the great fellowship of being together as Christians. We have the encouragement of gospel preaching. We sing together. Of course, we also eat together. Good food is provided, and we invite you to come and be a part of that. We have speakers both on Saturday and Sunday, and these are all speakers that come from Tennessee Bible College—alumni of Tennessee Bible College. We begin the program on Saturday with our longest-tenured man, Brother Glenn Ramsey. He’ll start Saturday morning with some reflections and some challenges, dealing with the treasure that we have, and he’s going to relate that to this, our Jubilee year. I hope that you can come and be with us.

This has been a great program for many years. The college has been here for 50 years. This lecture program and this gospel series has been going on since 1980—a great, great program through the years. If you never attended, I want to invite you. I want to give you a personal invitation to come and be with us at Tennessee Bible College for RENEW 2025.
