In this special One Gospel Minute episode, David Hill takes us back through Tennessee Bible College’s history as we celebrate our 50th year — our Jubilee year. We remember the moments that shaped who we are: moving into our current administrative building in 1995, and even earlier, the pivotal October of 1991, when TBC sent its very first teachers into Moscow, Russia.

Dr. Kerry Duke, now the speaker of the My God and My Neighbor podcast, was the first from TBC to teach at the State University of Management in Moscow, opening doors for the gospel in a place once closed to it. These milestones remind us of our mission and why we exist — to carry the saving message of Christ to the world.

As we reflect on our Jubilee year, join us in remembering God’s blessings, our record enrollment this fall, and the legacy of faith that continues to inspire. This episode isn’t just a look back — it’s a call to keep moving forward with the same purpose: spreading the gospel message of hope.

David Hill: I want to share a couple of things with you from Tennessee Bible College. Hi, David Hill with One Gospel Minute. In 1995, Tennessee Bible College moved into what was then the new building. It’s now our administrative building, with our physical classrooms, and all the activities that we do emanate from this building.

In this year, our jubilee year, we remember that as a very significant time. One time just before that, which was very significant to many of us, is the month of October. In 1991, we sent our first teachers into Moscow, Russia. Dr. Kerry Duke, who is the speaker for My God and My Neighbor podcast, was the very first one from Tennessee Bible College to teach there at the State University of Management and to deal with the philosophy of God.

This fall we are enjoying a record enrollment. We’re thankful for it, thankful for all the blessings. And as we celebrate this, our jubilee year, we remember these things that meant so much to us and remind us of why we exist—to carry the Gospel message, the saving message, the message of hope, to all the world.
