Many people have ideas about what God is like, but the truth is not found in human opinion—it is revealed in His word. The Bible teaches that God is eternal, unchanging, and far above the shifting thoughts of men. To misunderstand God is to misunderstand everything that follows, including life, suffering, and salvation.

Rather than shaping God into what we want Him to be, we are called to know Him as He truly is. Tennessee Bible College is offering an After Dark course, The Attributes of God, to help you study these truths more deeply and grow in your understanding of the living God. Learn more here.

David Hill: Hi, I’m David Hill, President of Tennessee Bible College. I want to invite you to be a part of a special program this spring, The Attributes of God. It’s an after-dark study on Monday nights at 6:00 PM, running through the spring term, and we will be considering the living God—the things that make Him who He is.

David said long ago, “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” God is everlasting. That’s one of His attributes. There are many, and we’re going to consider those along with pain and suffering—why that happens in the world—along with topics like eternal punishment and whether God can change His mind.

All of that will be considered in this good course, and we invite you to be a part of it. You can take it for credit or for audit. The doors are open at Tennessee Bible College—always. We want to help all to know the Word of God better and to know Him first, because to know Him is to know His Word and to know the salvation that is found in Jesus Christ.
