The Right Foundation

Jesus’ illustration of the wise man building his house on the rock, given at the close of the Sermon on the Mount, is more than a familiar children’s song—it is a serious call to obedience. Speaking to adults, Jesus taught that true wisdom is found in hearing His words and doing them. God’s Word is truth, and those who build their lives upon it stand firm. The challenge is for you to examine whether you are truly listening to and following the word of God.
