Wake up. The hour is later than we think. In this episode of One Gospel Minute, David Hill invites you to RENEW 2026, a day of focused Bible study and spiritual renewal on Saturday, February 28th at 9:00 AM on the campus of Tennessee Bible College. Centered on Romans 13:8–14, the program highlights Paul’s call to rise from spiritual sleep, walk in the light, and put on the Lord Jesus Christ in daily life. RENEW is Tennessee Bible College’s annual lectureship, established in 1980 by Malcolm Hill and Thomas Warren, and for decades has brought respected gospel preachers to campus to strengthen Christians through faithful teaching and fellowship grounded in God’s Word. David Hill: Wake up and join us Saturday morning, February 28th. Hi, David Hill with a Gospel Minute, and this week I’m inviting you to be a part of our program—RENEW 2026. It begins Saturday morning at nine o’clock. We have great speakers and two tracks, one for the men and one for the women. Romans 13, specifically verses eight through 14, dealing with our responsibility in serving the Lord. And one of them is to wake up and realize that salvation is at hand. Also, turn on the light of the gospel of Christ and let it shine in us to the world, especially now. Then we put on Jesus Christ by putting Him on in life and in practice so that the world sees Jesus living in us.
The writer Paul wrote in Romans 13, as that passage concludes, he said, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provisions for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.” All the related things we’re going to talk about, as well as, feeding you physically. A good time of spiritual feast, a time of singing together, being together, and then hopefully we leave renewed.
