COOKEVILLE — Tennessee Bible College’s Living Links Foundation has been revived.
“We need to have that vehicle in place to allow folks to give both now and for the future, to perpetuate the work of the college,” TBC President David Hill said.
The idea for Living Links actually goes back to the late 1980s and early 1990s when TBC’s founder and first president, Malcolm Hill, was looking for a way to help the college operate smoothly through financial ups and downs.
“It was ahead of its time,” Hill said of his late father’s vision. “We had some commitments made, but the foundation never fully materialized.”
Now everything is in order.
“I’m happy to see that we’re at that place,” Hill said. “That’s a sign of the maturation of the college (which was founded in 1975), and an indication of the great blessings of the Lord.”
Living Links offers an opportunity for supporters to contribute to TBC in different ways, whether it’s immediate through one-time donations or monthly bank drafts or long-term through estate planning and more. Those who want to give can see Hill to make arrangements.
“We always encourage gifts that will allow Tennessee Bible College to have flexibility if, for example, we need new office equipment or improvements to the building or grounds,” he said.
Some gifts have already gone to scholarship funds and more.
“The Living Links Foundation will help us continue and build upon our work in the training of gospel preachers, Bible teachers and Christian workers to evangelize the world,” Hill said. “We want to make sure Tennessee Bible College goes on to the next generation.”
