RENEWING THE SPIRIT THROUGH DECADES OF GOSPEL PREACHING AT TBC
RENEW is a long-standing lectureship program of Tennessee Bible College that has brought some of the brotherhood’s most respected gospel preachers to campus since 1980. Founded by Malcolm Hill and Thomas Warren, this event has encouraged countless Christians through powerful Bible teaching, heartfelt fellowship, and a shared commitment to the truth of God’s Word. Each gathering reflects the college’s mission to strengthen the church and renew the spirit.

“My Responsibility” — Romans 13:8–14
RENEW 2026 centered on the apostle Paul’s call to live with spiritual awareness and deliberate faithfulness. Drawing from Romans 13:8–14, the studies emphasized the urgency of awakening from spiritual complacency, casting off the works of darkness, and putting on the armor of light.
Throughout the morning, speakers reminded us that Christian responsibility is both inward and outward. Faith is not passive. To “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” is to make daily choices that reflect His character in our conduct, our speech, and our priorities.
From the opening call to “awake out of sleep” to the closing reminder that if we are in Christ, others should see Him in our lives, RENEW 2026 encouraged thoughtful reflection and renewed commitment to walking as children of light.
