TBC After Dark
The Pentateuch

About This Course

In this undergraduate course, we will cover the first five books of the Bible, collectively known as the Pentateuch. This course is of immense significance and enduring interest, as it delves into various topics such as the creation, the flood, the stories of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt through Moses, the institution of the law of Moses, and the wanderings of the children of Israel in the wilderness. Comprehending these books lays the groundwork for understanding the arrival of Jesus, the establishment and characteristics of the church, and the essence of New Testament teachings in general.

This ten-week class begins January 8, 2024 and will meet every Monday night from 6-7:15 p.m. CST in TBC’s Worley Room. The course will be led by Jason Gann.
