David Hill: Here’s a throwback for you. Let me make a suggestion to you, if you will. You want to start your week off right—I know—and the way to start your week right is by visiting the church of Christ in your community. Now, when you visit the church of Christ, you may expect the following things: a friendly welcome, because they’re very friendly folks; you can expect singing (Ephesians 5:19); you can expect praying (Luke 18:1); you can expect Bible study or preaching (II Timothy 4:1-2); the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7); and giving as you have been prospered (I Corinthians 16:1-2). Now, the people of the churches of Christ love one another (John 13:34). They love you, they’re interested in you, and they want you to come and be with them and enjoy serving the Lord according to the Bible. Let me encourage you: visit the church of Christ in your community. I’m Malcolm Hill. This has been One Gospel Minute from the churches of Christ in your community where you are always welcome.
