David Hill: Saw an old cereal poster the other day, picturing a child headed to school. The message: “To school well-fed with Grape-Nuts” Hi, David Hill with a gospel minute. School time again always seems to bring order to our world. Everything set. Plans made, the desire for success. A good parent makes plans to send their child to school well-fed.

But how about well-fed spiritually? From the time of Moses, God charged parents to teach children that which is most important. Teach them about God, His Word, the Bible. The example is to, “teach when you sit in your house, walk by the way, when you pillow your head at night, and when you rise up in the morning,” Deuteronomy 6 and verse 7.

Well-fed spiritually. Parents are you giving your children the nourishment most important? Tell them about Jesus. It’s good for you too! Thank you for listening to One Gospel Minute.
