Mothers, do you wish you could do a better job of teaching your daughters how to become “teachers of good things” for the Lord and His cause? You have a perfect opportunity this summer at Tennessee Bible College’s Truth Bible Camp!
This is a special event June 12-16 designed to teach our young girls how to teach Bible lessons to children and to ladies, how to lead singing for ladies days, how to lead prayer in ladies classes and ladies days, and how to read God’s Word before other women. The week will be filled with classes, activities, singing, searching God’s Word, as well as delicious food and fellowship.
I was so thrilled when President David Hill asked me to be a part of this needed training. I appreciate the invitation and greatly look forward to it.
In Hebrews 5:12 the writer admonishes the Hebrew brethren, saying, “when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again…” God expects us to grow into teachers—whether it is to our neighbor, to our children, in a class, at a ladies day, or to a sister in Christ.
Truth Bible Camp will encourage our girls to put God’s Word in their heart and to value it so much that they will cast their fears aside to be able to teach to others the truth they’ve learned.
