Truth Bible Camp Day Camp FAQ

Learn more about Truth Bible Camp by reading some of our most frequently asked questions.

What are the age requirements for Day campers?
Day Camp is for youth ages 9-11.
What are the classes like?

Day Campers will participate in daily devotionals and Bible studies centered around key Bible stories that will help them grow to be good Christians in the Kingdom. They also will participate in arts & crafts classes, outdoor sports, and nightly VBS activities.

What should my Day Camper bring/wear?
IMPORTANT: Please label all personal belongings with your camper’s name.

  • Bible
  • Insulated water bottle (Stanley, Hydro Flask, etc.)
  • Backpack
  • Towel
  • A clean, church-appropriate outfit (if your Day Camper stays for VBS)
  • Recreational/athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes
  • Optional spending money (up to $20) for snacks, drinks, and Bible cards at the Truth Trading Post
What is the dress code?
  • Shorts may be worn at camp, BUT all shorts must come to the top of the knee.
  • Skirts and dresses must come down to the top of the knee.
  • No visible midriffs. Clothing that exposes any part of the mid-section when standing, sitting or bending over is not allowed. All tops should be long enough to be tucked in.
  • Skin-tight or otherwise revealing clothing is not allowed.
  • Low-cut shirts, spandex, tight jeans, halter tops, etc. are not acceptable. Leggings do not count as pants. If your outfit is against dress code without leggings, it is against dress code with them.
  • Sleeveless shirts and dresses must have straps at least 3 inches wide. Sleeveless shirts must not have wide arm holes.

Please help us by ensuring your camper is prepared to adhere to the dress code. The dress code will be enforced, so please review. We want to make certain all campers arrive ready for the best week of camp possible.

What should I not bring?
  • Cell phones (see “What is the cell phone policy?” FAQ below)
  • Electronic devices of any kind (including Apple watches, tablets/laptops, or anything with texting/internet access)
  • Gaming devices/consoles
  • Weapons (guns and knives)
  • Fireworks
  • Tobacco products
What is the cell phone policy?
Day Campers may bring a cell phone, but it must be turned in at check-in each morning and will be securely stored until pickup. We believe removing the distraction of phones helps campers get the most out of their Truth Bible Camp experience.
