David Hill: Who will you listen to? It’s a good question. Maybe grammatic structure not the best, but a good question. Hi, David Hill. God said to hear His Son, Jesus, (Matthew 17:5). Are you listening? How will you hear Him outside of the gospel? Oh, I know some claim to hear a still small voice, but that’s not Him. He doesn’t speak to anyone that way today (I Corinthians 13:10). If you’re to hear Jesus, you’ll do that through the volume of a book—the Bible. Specifically His Testament, the New Testament, given once and for all times to direct our steps (Psalm 119:105). The very thing that many will not listen to is the message that will save the world. Have you heard from Jesus lately? Read your Bible, obey Him, and let Him direct your life. Violence, lying, corruption, immorality—all of that will go away if men, women, boys, and girls would listen to Jesus. Start your day with encouragement from the Lord.
