The Bible is the Word of God, asserting and proving its contents. It encompasses insights on things no one could know like angels, the Godhead, creation, and an objective moral standard. The theme? Salvation from sin, by and through Jesus Christ. Jesus prayed for unity (John 17:17). Recorded by 40 writers over 1,600 years, the world needs the “precious book divine” now more than ever.

David Hill: Got a minute? The Bible is God’s Word. It claims it and proves it. It tells of things no one can know, such as angels, the Godhead, beginnings, and offers an objective moral standard by which to live. Good reason to divine origin. It condemns behavior man excuses and calls all to a higher, better place. Some say it’s just an old rule book.

And that’s exactly what some said back in Isaiah’s day, Isaiah 28. Rules are given, but by a loving God to save, preserve, and prepare us for the life to come. It’s much more than a bunch of rules. The Bible’s God breathed – recorded by 40 writers over 1600 years. The theme? Salvation from sin by and through Jesus Christ.

Jesus prayed for unity, John 17:17. The Bible says, “speak the same things. Be of the same mind and of the same judgment”, I Corinthians one, verse 10. Unity? If we read the same book, the Bible, obey it, and follow it – the “precious book divine.” The world needs it now more than ever. Thank you for listening to One Gospel Minute.
