COOKEVILLE — Tennessee Bible College’s friends are gathering for dinner — and a good cause.
The annual Friends of Tennessee Bible College Benefit Dinner will be held Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Leslie Town Centre. Tickets are $50 each, and proceeds will go toward TBC scholarships, mission works and school operations.
“We would like as many that can come to come,” Mallory Huddleston, TBC public relations coordinator, said. “This is always a highlight of our year at TBC and a great way to support Christian education.”
Due to COVID restrictions, seating is limited. Reservations must be made by Feb. 24.
TBC’s annual benefit dinner is a time for alumni, faculty, friends and future friends to gather for an evening of connection.
This year’s guest speaker is Larry Acuff of Lithia Springs, Ga. The guest of honor is Paul Wilmoth, instructor of preaching at TBC and a minister at Northeast Church of Christ.
“We’re honoring somebody who has been a key part of our work, Bro. Paul Wilmoth,” TBC President David Hill said. “He was one of the very first students at Tennessee Bible College, and he’s been a supporter throughout all that time. We’re going to honor and remember the great contributions Bro. Paul has made through the years. We hope it’ll be an encouraging thing to him too.”
